source Welp, we’ve moved into the new place and it’s definitely a step in the right direction. Where we were before, it was perpetually cloudy and often cold…it was an awesome place in theory, but in reality it wasn’t all we had hoped it would be. So our new place is a bit more lively…definitely a lot louder and more ‘in the thick of things’. There is an adult store right across the street, followed by a clinic, an art gallery, and an African goods store. It’s a lot smaller and more compact, but overall I think this is a more ‘real’ city than San Francisco…kinda like how Brooklyn is a bit more ‘real’ than Manhattan. There’s a basketball court just a couple of blocks away and cool ‘go-out-y’ type neighborhoods within 5-10 minute walks.
