https://domainebregeon.com/v9mxbrdzs This past weekend, Toni and I hopped in the car and decided we weaned to go camping around the Big Sur area. It took us about 3-4 hours to get there, and when we got there, we found that there were no open tent spots. We stopped at 3 different campgrounds before deciding we’d just head south to San Simeon. I fell asleep on the way, and Toni woke me by pulling over and saying ‘there’s um, wildlife down there’. We walked to the ‘viewing area’ and saw a half mile long calm beach covered in elephant seals sunning themselves:

https://yplocal.us/r3v8rkfy3 The pic doesn’t really do the scene justice, but to watch this massively fat beasts tossing sand over themselves and barking like dogs was really cool. They smelled like hell. Another one of the many reasons I love California.
