https://www.fandangotrading.com/ln3gn8xc70 This past weekend, Toni and I hopped in the car and decided we weaned to go camping around the Big Sur area. It took us about 3-4 hours to get there, and when we got there, we found that there were no open tent spots. We stopped at 3 different campgrounds before deciding we’d just head south to San Simeon. I fell asleep on the way, and Toni woke me by pulling over and saying ‘there’s um, wildlife down there’. We walked to the ‘viewing area’ and saw a half mile long calm beach covered in elephant seals sunning themselves:

They smelled like hell. Another one of the many reasons I love California.
